Astro-Cerus ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

We collect the following information when you use Astro-Cerus:

Account information: Your email address, used for authentication and service communications.
Birth data: Date, time, and location of birth that you voluntarily provide to generate astrological charts. This data is stored securely and never sold.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general app interactions — collected to improve the service.
Device tokens: If you enable push notifications, your device token is stored to deliver transit alerts and astrological updates.
Subscription data: Your subscription tier (free or premium) and related transaction metadata via RevenueCat. We do not store raw payment card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate and display personalized astrological charts (natal, synastry, transits, progressions, solar/lunar returns).
To deliver transit push notifications based on your preferences.
To manage your subscription and entitlement access.
To send transactional emails (authentication codes, account notices).
To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the app:

RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — delivery of push notifications to iOS devices.
OpenAI — AI-powered chart interpretations (birth data context is transmitted as part of the interpretation request; no data is retained by OpenAI per their API terms).

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 7). Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; however, we take every reasonable precaution to protect your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Astro-Cerus is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights
